Hi Frost!
How's copernicus going? Apparently I'm not allowed to PM on this forum so I figured I would post and see how everything is going

I thought the mod had died, but it turned out I didn't know about the new forum!

Yeah, it didn't die, but it's not progressing as gloriously as it was in the golden days of my unemployment. I'm working on that, though.
(For the folks who don't know, blakmajik is the creator of the Zeppelin mod)

I'm busy dammit!
Unless you want me to start making videos of my work stuff, like my sweet SQL sync agent, you're gonna have to wait till I can get that squared away. Also, I am not actually making a video about my SQL sync agent, so don't ask.
On the plus side, though, there are a lot of parallels with the IT portions of FC, so that is fewer things to research later on. Especially since we are down a database admin.

But we're not converting blocks to entities. FC isn't going to work like Zeppelin.

Thanks! I can try if fr0st has anything he needs help with. But while I know a lot about much of the Minecraft internals, the rendering engine is not a big part of that knowledge

Although I did like that article on the different meshing, the greedy meshing was similar to an idea I had on my list for Zeppelin to try and speed up things (except it was for entity merging, not rendering meshes). How many devs do you have on the project now?
