So... I just finished watching "Moon" about ten minutes ago for the first time. It was one of the saddest movies I have ever seen but it had a great ending. I would recommend it to everybody who hasnt already seen it. Anyways, it was made in 2009 and it's about Sam Bell. He's an astronaut that is living on the moon to take care of the Helium 3 harvesters. Helium 3 is what 70% of Earth now runs on. It's basically solar energy inside of the rocks on the dark side of the moon. He has lived up on the moon for almost three years with no company but a robot named Gerty and his contract ends in just a few weeks which is when he will be able to leave and be with his wife and three year old daughter again. The communications satellite has been broken the entire time he's been on the moon and it doesn't seem like Lunar Industries has any plans to fix it any time soon. So, he sends recorded messages to his wife with the helium 3 he sends back to Earth, and she (supposedly) sends messages back. No live conversations though. One day he wakes up in the infirmary and Gerty tells him he has been in a crash and he needs to rest. When he gets up a little while later, he finds that one of the harvesters has stopped moving. He goes out to investigate and he finds that it's stuck on one of the rovers, and inside, he finds himself. That's all I want to spoil just in case you haven't seen it, but I rate this movie five stars. The acting was incredible and the music helped a ton to set the feel. I'm not going to lie, I almost cried watching one of the scenes. Would I re-watch it? Maybe. It's not really the type of movie you'd re-watch unless you're going to re-watch it with a friend. Anyways, go check it out! If you've already seen it, how did you like it? (I don't remember seeing the trailer for this movie when it was out so I'm guessing it wasn't an extremely popular movie but if it was, and you have all heard of this, then... well... I'm stupid.)

If I had mod powers still I'd delete that post, Keon. Incredibly rude of you.

Okay okay.
It sounds good. Is it on Netflix or youtube or something?

No Keon, it's at the DVD-shop.
By a funny coincidence, I also watched this movie for the first time just a few days ago. Isn't it interesting how that happens: there's some "thing" that you've never heard of or payed attention to, then you draw your attention to it, and then it starts appearing everywhere.

So we have telepathic powers? Now only to find a way to amplify these waves...

I think humans had much more extensive telepathic powers back in the day, but technology has lessened the need for it. It's just like how our sense of smell isn't as good as before. What good is it to know your wife just died when you'll be phoned quickly anyway? Therefore, it is lesser.

Our eye sight will probably get worse too, which sucks. We don't need to sense motion as quickly anymore because we aren't constantly on the look out for predators... or prey for that matter.

I wonder if we would become more advanced as a species faster if we still had strong telepathic connections O.o
also, back on topic: I put the trailer up on page 1. here's the theme for the movie. It was made by Clint Mansell, the same guy who did Requiem For a Dream. (skip to 2:40 for the good part):
