That was very strange.

So my doctor wanted me to go through some psychiatric tests. Ok, fine, whatever. the EEG (Electroencephalograph) was kinda boring. They attach electrodes to yer head and you sit there for 25 minutes. The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imager) was odd. They lay you down, slot you into the thing, and again you sit there while it whirrs, clicks, thumps, bangs, and hums occasianally. One of those points where the silence goes on just a bit too long between noises, and you wonder if you should be worried or not.

Had this as well...
Know how that is.
I felt like I was in the barrel of a charging superlaser...

All you have to do when you go into one of those is this: remember that it probably knows a dozen different ways to murder you. So the fact that it hasn't yet should bring you some peace of mind.

I have a sudden image of someone being microwaved alive in a MRI machine. It's a lovely thought.

I think you could probably do more with the awesome magnets than with microwaving.

Fen's post deleted. Guess what, they cool those MRI's with liquid nitrogen, right? I would hate to have it collapse and leak a large pool of liquid nitrogen on me.

Why did you delete my post? It actually happened.

I didn't magnify it, obviously, nor was it 500 times, but someone did something wrong with the machine and it fried the two nearby computers. They had to cut power to the MRI. 2/10 would not go through again.

Robot RP in RP section. Owl RP I don't really know what to say, but also try to keep it in the RP section.
