A favor from the community

I logged onto the shiva thread recently to discover things just keep go wrong there. I'm glad the topic was locked and also I'd be glad if no discussion will be held on the matter as all points were put. LJS I'm not sure your posts help returning Shiva to be an active member. I do invite Shiva though to take a break from all that crazy admin stuff and become a normal contributing member. See besides the problem with those points of view I also see another possible problem - To this point I see Shiva only as an admin. She has no other purpose on this forum and when someone questions her only form of existence here I understand her angered reaction and inability to see the other side. I do want Shiva to be a normal member first. Read the posts made on the forum, comment, write your own stuff, maybe start a new RP faction or your own ship thread, suggest something over at the dev section and even troll someone for a change  , See an admin is a leader, and as such you can't be disconnected from the people. Best way to get everyone along well is to be simple humans for a change. Take a break, enjoy those forums for a change, get the hang of how it works, who you work with, and maybe try the role of an admin again.

Also for you here is an example of how to troll: LJS you are welcome to argue with Shiva here, this way she won't leave the forums  . And you guys try not to fuel this stuff and quit the talk about ruling systems for a while, this needs to cool down a bit.

If you do that, us devs can try to run the forum

That's not fueling anything, that's taking away what they're quarreling over. Sorta like taking a pistol away from two squabbling toddlers.

well not me obviouisly, but Fen, Keon and occasionally Fr0st have demonstrated that they could run the place if they had to.

But I really don't want to do that. I made it pretty clear in my initial agreement with Dr. Mackeroth that I would be onboard the team solely in a modding capacity, and I'd like to keep it that way. It would be much better if half the board stopped airing their dirty laundry in public message boards for all the world to see and got back to the business of maintaining the forum.

Well the fact half the forum can post in locked threads and disrespect the lock is already something but we'll discuss it later. I do not like though that both LJS and Shiva ignored my thread.

We have 121 members registered on this forum.

8 of those are in positions to post in locked threads.

How in the world is that half? Please, help me to understand this.

By liberal estimate, only about 40 people might be considered regulars on this forum, and of the top 15 posters, which is about at the 300+ posts marker, 7 can post in locked forums, and about half of those regularly do, myself included.

Yea , it's about the active members and not the empty accounts.
