I've seen this before. I'm not convinced they have any idea how to accomplish any of the things they are proposing.

The fact that they hide their blog and FAQ behind their signup page is shady as hell, and we just finished dealing with this video game scam http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_War_Z
But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Only 98% skeptical.

Haha yea, it does seem like a scam and even if it isn't they can't pull it off properly.

Even if there was such a game it would be totally pointless to even have it for multiplayer - even if 1 billion of earth's population will play it you will still end up walking huge distences before ever meeting a player (And that's what you wanted to o in FC !)

My guess is that even if they did pull a miracle out of their ass and develop this game, they're not going to have a large enough userbase to fill out their universe if everything is run by players.
We're much smaller scale and even we are still going to have problems with that.

Although if it does ever exist, I will likely use it to conduct nefarious schemes, and probably destroy the world, and tick a lot of people off.

This is interesting.. But impossible. I say: good lucky to them, but I doubt it will ever get anywhere.

When a quantum processor is considered "Grandma´s motorized calculator", as we say in my place, you may think about making that game playable.

God this would take for ever... Noob village- Hey man I got spear.
Next village over- ENEMY AIRCRAFT! Fire the nukes, and prepare to launch evacuation ships.
I mean how the hell do you figure all this out? The same way we did in real life? We still don't have space ships and they want to do this? and a voyage to the new world took like 3 months I am not playing three months to get across the ocean and die of dysentery.

No, no. You die of dysentery on the ship. Once you're across the ocean you freeze and starve to death. You don't get to die of dysentery in the New World until you've got some colonies set up.

I went to the youtube page and the account has commented about these kinda things and explained almost nothing in doing so.
