I've been checking the ship design forum and nothing's happened for the past couple days, until Instinct posts that he's leaving the forum for this one! Where did this forum come from? What's going to happen to the other one?

Early on there were some compatibility issues, but now you should be able to copy/paste posts in their entirety without much in the way of issues.

As for the other forum...Shiva hasn't really said what she intends to do, but it'd probably be for the best if that stayed up as a sort of 'backup' board in case things go horribly wrong over here.

Also, the background fleet image looks amazing! But how did you get the images without any distortion? Because when I take a photo of one of my big ships I get this funny looking bend in the center of my photo.

Yes. Or you could use Chunky, or Eihort.

Ya, but the program itself is rather expensive. If you shoot me a world file I'd be more than happy to make one for you.

Alternatively, Wings3D can import the .obj files most Minecraft-to-3d apps use, just be sure to pick up POV-Ray so your renders don't end up looking bad.
