What do people do in when they are stuck in an airport overnight?

Either sleep or find something to kill the time.

I'd say something but I probably shouldn't because I'm worried about the USO reading what I put on the internet and DHS locking down the airport and CPS taking me away from my family and the CIA locking me in Guantanamo where I will spend the next 15 years of my life after which I will leave a new convert to Islam and move to Iraq where I will begin my bitter quest for revenge and build the next caliphate and take down America... and also other things involving organizations, departments, and agencies with 3 letter acronyms.

You've got a 96% chance of success. American airport security is a joke. It's all for show. They go through the whole act to make people feel safe and try to keep people from trying to smuggle weapons through, not because the security actually works. I can, off the top of my head, think of a couple dozen entirely undetectable ways to get potentially deadly weapons onto a plane. My personal favorite would be to make something like a mace, completely hollow, out of soft-ish plastic, so it could be folded flat into the bottom of a bag, and then fill it all the way up with water from the plane's bathroom to make it heavy enough to kill somebody with.

...Right, you won't mind if I maybe borrow that idea.
