I'm not even sure why I would care in the slightest bit. Microsoft makes PCs, people buy them to play games. They have and they will. What makes a PC slot in E3 hype-worthy?

MS doesn't make PCs ... It makes OSes and Xbones (the later might mean they will announce games for Xbone or show promotional material for em, like they do every year in their press conferences, OFC only after a hour or so of promoting useless products gamers do not care about. They are sure as hell to spend a big chuck of that time on Win10 and perhaps attach it to E3 by saying "ITS GREAT FOR GAMING !" even though their audience doesn't care ...)
They're watching ...

Well, in Win10 is like Win7, it'll be pretty good, though 'great for gaming' is up for debate.
