I saw Interstellar last week. I'm probably being silly, but I liked it as much as I liked 2001.

Spoiler:
TARS was really, really awesome. It's nifty to see robot designs that vary from the standard "person, but metal" or "weird spider thing" setup. I thought it was especially great when he was rolling.

Also, my dad sees the 5-dimensional super creatures as a metaphor for God. Which I suppose it may be, but he takes it pretty literally. More power to him, I suppose.

Rehash of 2001, humans from the future save humans now blah blah pantheism.

I hear a lot of good about it.
Sadly I won't find a good copy of it 'til it's released on DVD by spring.

Nobody has any criticism? I don't have any but some of my friends hated it. I think I need to find new friends. Definitely going to watch this again when it's on DVD.

Can't, haven't seen it. Isn't it the one with the black hole thing and the weird walky-metal-whatevers and the spaceship and the parent and kid or something?

Some people just hate Christopher Nolan movies just because Christopher Nolan movies, just like many people hate CoD games just because CoD games, even though the newest one isn't half bad.
