I've developed a deep paranoia to the Ebola vaccine said to be available by early next year. Specifically because of the fact that they are using modified rabies. WHO says vaccines usually take 10-30 years to create and make available to the public and this one has been in development for less than 10 years and they're speeding it up. Anyone here seen 28 days later?

Well mate considering the Syrian government shot down two training planes piloted by ISIS forces Im surprised of all possible things to panic about you chose THIS. Nobody cares about nuclear apocalypse from Iran anymore, or an invasion by Russia, or the attack of the ISIS, EBOLA ZOMBIE VIRUS ! Im just amazed by how hype-driven can some of you get, the second something new pops on the news the rest is not a threat anymore and I'd like to remind you how panicked you were about EVERY SINGLE ONE of those things I wrote earlier.

That's why you should make a shelter IMMEDIATELY, avoid all vaccines too, and send all your money and at least one of your guns (with corresponding ammo) to me so I can watch it for you. There won't be any zombies here so it'll be safe with me.

It is still the case that more Americans have been Batman than have gotten ebola. Right now we're in the middle of a completely unfounded panic, and the correct reaction is to let all the crazies scream until they're out of breath and then get on with our lives.

You do realize most vaccines are modified versions of existing illnesses, right?

And odds are there was already most of an Ebola vaccine, but the team working on it was underfunded. Now, there's a panic, so funding increased, thus, speed-vaccine.

Also, vaccines *might* cause an allergic reaction (some use chemicals from eggs, for example), but they won't do anything really horrible. Seriously, don't worry about it.

(Also, I tend to punch anti-vaccine people, right inna face, on sight.)

Yeah, a dead-people-rising-from-their-graves zombie apocalypse is the most probable kind, so don't worry, and keep your guns locked up.
And if there was a zombie apocalypse, you wouldn't be one of the ones fighting the hordes, you'd be part of the hordes being mowed down. Except from maybe Tau and me and whoever else here lives in a remote area.

false. Well... Invincible, rising from the grave type zombies, yes. But weaponized rabies, no.

Bottom line though there are things much more worth worrying about than the Ebola vaccine being a zombie virus (or any other virus for that matter, I won't deny those things are usually not good for your health but I think Ill prefer this over dying ... ).

If I'm not forced to take it, I wont take it. After all, if everyone else has the vaccine there is virtually no chance of me catching Ebola.
