Also, this case is particularly bad and can be likened to Rodney King because it's not just a single police officer acting out. It's a group with a clear leader, which takes planning, and makes one wonder whether this group came up with that idea on their own or received orders from higher up.

If HK is planning on installing martial law then I can't imagine that will any better for the economy than the protest as-is.

EDIT: First, for convenience, from a comment below, here's the Youtube link with english subs (embedding disabled)

Second, there is a concerted effort underway by the 50 Cent group, a group of people paid 50 cents per post by China, to post comments in this thread and others about Hong Kong that distract from the topic at hand, engage active users in useless discussion, and flat out lie left and right. This has been going on in /r/worldnews and /r/hongkong for the past three weeks and while some anti-protest users are genuine, many more aren't.

PLEASE join discussions about Hong Kong on /r/worldnews and /r/hongkong . Talk, raise awareness, and support HK with thoughtful comments. Don't let the news about Hong Kong become controlled and censored like China, North Korea, etc.

Even the top comment below this one is implying the protests and this video will accomplish nothing.

Here are screenshots of a couple more clear examples and their respective links,
