Yey Im back from a month in a tent in the mid of nowhere ! Means comp is back on the regular basis at least until the 26th when the next semester starts.

Well if you want the little pictures we took (you know we are not supposed to use cellphones in there) follow:

Iv in a caccoon mode regaining powas for the day to follow ! (Weapon under the matrass with he belt around it below you, then each time I wake up even now when Im home I check with my hand to see the belt is still there)

(BTW you have no idea how hard it is to get on the first bus (aka first 46 seats) when there are 120 ppl the likes of you pushing and kicking their way through the crowd to the magical bus door)

Those are all somewhat shitty quality because they were made with random cellphones (Naturally didnt have a camera there), I do have a pic or two of me when I returned home made with proper cameras so Ill try to dig those up later. Feel free to ask qs I feel talkative today ...

So what's it like in the Israelian army?
What kind of guns do you use?

Well combat units use TAR-21s but as you can see recruits get the old M16s Israel once purchased from the US with one dollar per rifle. You spend and awful load of time cleaning it so that it won't jam during fire, it jammed only once for me because of the mac-disarmer.

The mac-disarmer is an orange plastic thingie that is put inside the bullet chamber when the weapon is not in use to indicate and ensure the weapon has no ammo in it (it takes the same slot of a bullet so there is no way both a bullet and a mac-disarmer are in the chamber simultaneously). When the weapon is readied for use you put a magazine in and * the weapon, during the cocking the cocking handle pulls out the mac-disarmer as if it was a bullet case and pushes in a real bullet. The mac-disarmer is tied to the weapon with a rubber band of a sort so when it flies out its pulled away from the ejection port, in my case however the rubber band was torn so it was tied to the carrying handle. It was all fine just under some angles the mac-disarmer was hanging near the ejection port which caused trouble with the ejection, end result is second jam with a bullet casing stuck inside the weapon together with the bullet. Otherwise I got 100 on the shooting tests ! (Though not 100% hits)

He has issues with bullpup ARs even existing.
