Hello, folks, this is war correspondent Error. Today I bring you a slightly belated but rather amusing report.

As many of you will probably know, 4chan's /pol/, or Politically Incorrect, board got, well, bored, and decided to try and incite a tumblr 'raid' against 4chan. Needless to say, this 'raid' was used to motivate /b/, the random board, into their own 'raid' on tumblr.

Tumblr tried spamming gore, *, and general NSFW, as well as appeals to 4channers' concience and sense of morality. As these attacks did, quite literally, nothing, 4chan retaliated with tumblr's greatest tactical weakness - so-called 'trigger' images, more commonly called shock images. By spamming a number of tumblr's 'social justice' tags with shock images, they caused a number of tumblr denizens to threaten suicide, harassment lawsuits, hacking, and a great many other things.

So to sum things up, 4chan trolled tumblr, tumblr fed the trolls, and the cycle begins anew.

Meanwhile, the Homestuck fandom on Tumblr doesn't react a damn bit.

That was so awesome, I can't wait for them to do it again. The best part is where people say they tried to contact M00t, and that retarded 'psychopath.'

I watched live on 4chin. It was good. The current plan is that they have set up timed posts for the 20th/25th filled with gore. Dunno how many were made, but if the 17 anons who did the first raid did it, it's probably somewhere around 200.

It's people like SWL's that posted things like "Calling all fandoms" and "fandoms unite" and stuff like that, which are quite frankly hilariously embarrassing.

But yeah, 4chan tried to get in Tumblr's pants, Tumblr let 4chan into its pants. Later that night in bed, Tumblr was not very effective, while 4chan was super effective.
I've just realized that night could be quite the interest greentext story.

I watched it all and there a lot of people just rolling their eyes at this (including everyone in the FC-Tumblr community). I'm staying out of it as much as possible. As progressive as Tumblr tries to be, it can be really stupid.

Yeah, tumblrs reaction in this whole thing was hilarious.
And it brings me great shame that Ivan seems to be on tumblr's side in this.

Pretty much. The green guy is 4chan as a whole, I think. Not accurate, but easiest to draw, I guess.
