You mean the source engine? If you mean that yeah, but they did an amazing job with what they had.Chairman_Tiel wrote:It's actually pretty decent, shame their medium kinda takes away from the stellar voice acting and script writing.
That and all but the maps and clips from EVE being made with Half-Life 2 stuff. The main character being Barney kind of detracts from it, Gordon.CatsVsNinjas wrote:You mean the source engine? Actually I think all player ships do have a minimal amount of crew even though the pilot is bionicly linked to the ship. In fact that battleship shouldn't be able to run off just three people even if there was a linked pilot.Admiral Vinyl wrote:EDIT: I'm also pretty sure all ships have one crew (the player).
If there are multiple people in your ship, then where do the extras for your privately built titan come from?CatsVsNinjas wrote:Actually I think all player ships do have a minimal amount of crew even though the pilot is bionicly linked to the ship. Ah, he probably did the final cuts in Hammer.Chairman_Tiel wrote:Source SDK
I never said it was in Gary's mod, I highly doubted that as the animation was so smooth.Chairman_Tiel wrote:"
The most important thing I can put in this section is this:
I HAVE NEVER EVER USED GARYS MOD FOR ANYTHING.
I find it almost insulting that people think I used it for any of Clear Skies, it is the Nokia cameraphone to the Source SDK’s Nikon digital SLR."
Still, doesn't say SFM. Hmm.
It's really weird that you'd actually go and (for all intents and purposes) create a game for a movie. Guess I'm not in a position to argue the point, though; can only wonder at the eccentricity of it all.
