You mean the source engine? If you mean that yeah, but they did an amazing job with what they had.

I'm at least 60% sure that's GMOD.

e: Nope, I stand corrected. I think. Their page says they use a 'Source SDK' though they don't specify SFM, and since they specified they needed to record scenes with Fraps (when SFM has an inbuilt renderer/exporter) I don't think so.. The SDK is pretty much GMOD without any of the frills on its lonesome.

That and all but the maps and clips from EVE being made with Half-Life 2 stuff. The main character being Barney kind of detracts from it, Gordon.

Actually I think all player ships do have a minimal amount of crew even though the pilot is bionicly linked to the ship. In fact that battleship shouldn't be able to run off just three people even if there was a linked pilot.

It's really weird that you'd actually go and (for all intents and purposes) create a game for a movie. Guess I'm not in a position to argue the point, though; can only wonder at the eccentricity of it all.

I never said it was in Gary's mod, I highly doubted that as the animation was so smooth.
