Our government approved the "Marco Civil".
Countrywide web surveillance.
If you search for a,lets say,a politician story, you will be arrested.
And with the soccer protests,if you organize or participate in one, they have authorization to search all your files, without a permit.
Thats it,Democracy.

Don't your politicians get it? Eventually there's going to be a violent revolution. History shows time and time again that these revolutions succeed too.

Depends on your definition of success.

I think I'd actually give the NSA a golf clap if they actually started up an in-house VPN service and advertised it as a way to avoid gubberment spying. And then, you know, did their thing. That'd be clever.

I'm actually 0% mad at the NSA. Technically, they're doing their job.
I can't be mad at someone because he's doing his or her job.
Though I heard the actual reason the NSA is mad at Snowdon is because he propably has proof of the NSA doing industrial espionage in Europe.
Which would hurt the US a lot, because that would mean they've been cheating in economy all this time.

>cheating in economy
>implying there are rules to economy
>implying anyone actually enforces the suggestions people think are rules

Good point.
Tho there are rules in the EU.
Which actually are enforced.

The only economy in which there are no rules is that of a true free-market one, which don't currently exist at all.

That's because 'no rules' is called anarchy and even the freedom-loving US (mostly) agrees that that's not an ideal form of government.
