I do not see where it still is a dictatorship if people vote. Unless the head of state is not elected.
Also, I agree, communism does have potential, the main problem is making it work.
Before the system may become communist, the public opinion would have to be in favour of communism and the communism would have to be democratic in order for it to not fall into the pit that is corruption and Stalinism.

Haven't we proven that democracy doesn't work on several occasions?

"Works" seems like too strong of a word, more like we've yet to come across a problem that requires more ten two days of arguing then just moving on and ignoring said problem.

Occasion is defined as "a particular time or instance of an event." So I was pointing out that there were several instances/examples we provided that democracy didn't work. I never said, or implied we stopped.

The fact there are votes doesn't turn a regime into a democratic one, apart from the apparent not giving shit about votes such as Russia there is also dictatorship of the majority that I often talk about, as democracy includes a far wider spectrum of principles than mere votes, its about preserving freedoms of the state members.

We need a full on dictatorship so we can get things done faster.

Speaking of getting things done... Are we going to turn this into a gaming community or are we going to continue bleeding members?

Funny, but as I said before on diff occasions make your choice - Do you want to live in Russia or the USA ? They both had the potential to give the same to their people but in the same time have a look where both are right now.

It was a joke. Also, the US and Russia are moving towards each other from what I can see.
