We are being stomped out here

Okay, I know the world cup isn't popular with the Brazilians, but I didn't know it was THAT bad.

I really don't see why it's completely okay when somewhere spends a fuckton of money on sports, but spend the same money on military or on a space program or something benefiting the people, and everyone loses their minds.

Trust me, there is a reason why every official who talks about cutting the US military budget gets into the news. (psst, it's that they usually don't talk about that. That wouldn't be patriotic.)

Well developing the military has it's own advantage, nowadays it means developing technology, as a result you get a powerful high-tech industry that is good for the ordinary citizens too and the sold weapons and tech can help the government to gather even more money. Same can be applied to the world cup if done properly. The world cup is an investment, its true this money could go to the people directly but if managed properly that world cup can bring even more money back into the treasury. OFC like any business you need to learn how to run it, and unfortunately I dont see how that world cup is gonna replay for it's organization cost, too much of a budget was wasted on it.

Also,our infraestruture is SHIT!

a normal bus holds 42 people at maximum capacity. Here,we use them with more than 70 on the same veichle!

A simple bucket of water can flood the entire capital

And besides,the crime is too big,even for us. If someone is raped,its the victims fault for walking at the night

Lol it's kinda funny in a totally morbid way to hear you call out the problems of your country and then listen to people here whine and moan about our government. You guys have it bad, no doubt about it.

One thing I've noticed though: how comes hotter countries are usually the poor ones?

Has not mcuh to do with it, just Europe was cold, thats about it, Russia is cold and its not too rich you know.

Void, GTFO of Brazil. The place is going to become a deathtrap. It's likely that the country will become a civil warzone in the next 5-20 years.

This really sucks... But what could you possibly want us to do about it? Most of us can't go to Brazil and protest this with you. Also, I agree. Get out of Brazil if it's getting that bad. Just don't go to the police state that is the USA. I suggest Korea. Everyone is so nice :P
