So it seems we can kinda sorta agree that the mod is going nowhere, so a gaming community would be better than the current status quo.

So, I put to you, what shall we play?

Minecraft.

I guess we are pretty much established with unique MC content and stuff for a server however this area is too saturated in my opinion to attract members. I expect almost no raise in members during the first few months and probably the closure of the server in that duration of time. Proto's advertising of the server together with his content pack might help but Im not too optimistic about the results even then.

I'm with Iv on that one, but I'm a bit too excited to think of something else right now so I'm gonna keep my trap shut.

In this case MC is a bit difficult, it can be a fun thing on the side though.

Minecraft, one of the Paradox grand strategy/Age of Autism games, or Planetside 2(if you can play it, I'll be able to in a month or 4).


Edit: We have almost as many choices as active members, everyone choose a second or third choice please, in order of preference.

I would also play Planetside 2.

TF2 has been overdone as far as communities go, imhotep.

Planetside 2 is supposedly going to be released on the PS4 in a while. If that happens, count me in.

Garry's Mod is supposed to have a reasonably large multiplayer community. It's an option. Maybe just have this on the side?

And, of course, there's Minecraft. I think starting a server is out of the option unless we can somehow piggyback on the success of Proto's flan pack and advertise that way (although that probably wouldn't be too effective in the short term, i.e. the term in which we need new users most).u

We should at least make a monorisu subforum, as a favour to Labjac. That's a pretty fun server, I think. Also, even if we abandon MC completely, I'll probably host a server intermittently when I get my gaming computer fixed if no one else does. Pic related(usually around 30-60 down, it's been lower than it should be for some reason).

Surely I'm missing something here. As far as I know, we have one thread on the entire forum about this server. Why on earth should it get its own entire subforum? That's ridiculous.

The only thing his server has is a youtube channel AFAIK. It'd bring a few new members with it, forget to mention that.

Work of tanks sounds good, it runs suprisingly well and is free and is pretty simple teamwork wise so it sounds like the best.

Monorisu have their own website, started up two days ago.

Good could be a good laugh, but not everyone has it.

PS2 not everyone will be able to play, so I think we need a secondary that everyone can actually play.
