It bothers me that Earth has been in a constant state of war* since humans learned to fight; but it bothers me more how much of that has occurred in the middle east, which is essentially the birthplace of humanity.

While I get some of the reasons, it still doesn't justify the fact that nobody there can stop fighting for long.

*Since we learned to fight, there has always been a war somewhere on the planet; be it Europe, Africa, Mid-East, SA, NA, wherever. It's a little unsettling.

@ Fen heh good words , you remind me of Ban-Ki-Moon (or whatever its spelt, copied from the wiki page but hell everyone spells it whatever he wants), now throw me your proposal, it ain't as easy as saying it. "Both sides are wrong" won't cut it with me wither.

As I said (In this very thread) Israel was ready to accept and follow the ceasefire twice by now, we stopped all fire and fighting and stuff but the Hamas didn't give a crap, do you expect us to sit idle ? No, ofc four hours in when they broke the ceasefire with 40 rockets fired at our cities its only natural that we continue fighting. When will the fighting stop ? When the Hamas accepts the ceasefire, when will that happen ? When the Hamas will loose so many assets that it will be unable to fight anymore for the time being, when will the war stop forever ? When The people of Gaza will understand that they are being deluded by their tyrants and when they'll see that they won't be able to break us by force. Their tactics are not made to win, they are made to kill as many people as possible, thus the possibility of them ever changing their present with what they do is null.

So basically speaking both things you said there are attempts to escape from the realities of this war.

@ Error peace always comes after war, when one side is confined one way or another and has no other choice, that's just how we work.

Well if you think both sides are wrong fine, thats them sot support I ever expect to get for our poor Israel, just leave us alone, you don't quite stand by your words when you say both sides are wrong and pressure us to submit to them, thats how it usually goes: "Oh I play neutral, fighting is wrong , that is why Israel should put its weapons down", thats how it usually goes in ever single war we ever fought. Though again as I said saying both sides are wrong is running away from reality, finding an easy way out, prob is in RL it doesn't work like that.
