Actually, if you remove all species-related things from that, you get as a result that cats have, in fact, domesticated humans.
Face it, any 'cat owner' does whatever the cat wants whenever it wants. And if the cat doesn't do what the 'owner' wants/does what the 'owner' doesn't want it to do, there are hardly any consequences.
Cats are appearently superior to humans.
