Unless the book is written by CMA.
Or if the pope is an owl.
That rule has no exceptions.
Oh no?

See that? My entire church is one big woman-killing, child-molesting army. From the moment of baptism on we're taught how to use the dastardly tools of patriarchy and hate crime to wreak havoc upon the world, as soon as we reach adolescence, our souls are irrevocably bound to the church militant in the evil rites of confirmation, even going so far to call ourselves MILITIA DEI. See that? It says MILITIA, as in MILITANT, as in MILITARY, as in EVIL NAZIS.

We will shit evil all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking anathema, kiddo.

</banter>

Anyway, I forget what this post was about.
Oh yeah, love.

How I see it, there's two ways to look at it. The first is the popular Disney/Hallmark kind of love, where all of a sudden everything is magically right etc. etc. until "it doesn't feel right" and it ends in a storm of drama and illogic. That kind of love, IMO, is more like infatuation. It's the kind of love people talk about when they say "I'm in love with this girl but I've never talked to her," it's not really love of the person, but of a sort of idol that's been erected based on the outward characteristics of the person being 'loved.' The other way to look at it, is closer to the love a [good] parent has for their child, the kind of love that can't all of a sudden "just not feel right." It's the sort of love old married couples have, close friends have, and I have for Hummus and Pita bread.

That's my 2Ð on the subject, extrapolate your options.

Edit: Really? It censors National Socialist and nothing else?

What is love? I think CMA hit the nail on the head.

Love is simply an increase in oxytocin and vasopressin. (Probably.) Love is completely irrelevant to normal functions, therefore I shan't participate in any activities associated with love.

You know Scooby Doo's name is actually Scoobert? I thought you'd like to know that.

What did any of that have to do with knocking the Pope's hat off?

That does the pope's hat have to do with LS' Void's love problem?

Anyway, I think LS is depressive.
Again.

Yes I am pretty sure.

Stop judging me.

No, seriously, I know signs of his mental state when I see them. [apple]I would be a pretty bad [insert whatever you think I am here] if I wouldn't.[/apple]

I could literally live on that for the rest of my life, I once ate it for breakfast, lunch and dinner for two days.

I'll have to say I agree with CMA and Solar on this.
Also, I find it a little odd that one of the most famous love stories of all time, Romeo and Juliet, is basically about a 14-year-old girl and a not-sure-what-age guy who fall in love because they find each other attractive. I mean, I've just read a little about it for school, but I'm not sure they really even know that much about each other.
Love is a silly thing that somehow rules society, and I'd rather have a close friend than a girlfriend. That's my 2 doge on this subject.

It's a lot less/more complex than what most romantics and pretentious contrarians people on the forums apparently think.

I fail to see how love is any more complex than hummus and pita.

You're gonna take that back real fast once you start feeling little Daynel get uppity whenever you're together. I know hyperlite did.

I don't really have any experience on the matter. I've asked a girl out once, I've been rejected once...imo love is an evolution of friendship, a higher bond...love cannot truly exist spontaneously, that's merely infatuation (mistake I made). Though I'm sure hyper would, again, disagree there. From what I've observed the closer you get to someone without 'making a move', the more they assign you to the 'brotherly love' category that isn't suitable for relationships, otherwise known as friendzoning.

Also I totally agree with the second post in this topic. LS, if there's nothing you can do about it, there's nothing you can do about it. Move on with your life, man, don't keep hurting yourself over her loss.

I wasn't being contrarian, that's my opinion on the subject. Do you have anything to refute it?

Every time I'm skimming boring posts and somebody writes 'LS' I stop because I think it's 'LJS'. You need different initials.

(Kzinti script, as best as can be displayed in Human characters, translated roughly as "For the Patriarchy!")
