He tricked 30 reporters into getting onto a 16-hour intercontinental flight that he wasn't actually on. Just for that, he has my complete support. He is absolutely a traitor, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It has a negative connotation, but remember that every single one of the Founding Fathers were traitors as well, and were willing to commit a far more serious act with less reason.

Well south America always was a heaven for terrorists, drug lords and hiding Nazis... Now they have one more riff-raff there with Snowden on his way to some Venezuelan shore with the Russian bucks ...
Still don't see how revealing that pointless secret info makes him a hero and why should brazil care if the US has satellites there, it really made no harm to anyone, I do hope though that that traitor had no access to secret agents and stuff (or in that computer he stole) because if he has than he just murdered all those agents ...
If they get their hands on him which they might do by forcing the plane on board he might try to escape to land in some European country (for which reason he will probably make a stop in Iran or something before going to south America) he probably won't see daylight again because he knows too much .
