How about this. Instead of teamviewer, use a streaming site like Justin.tv, so that people who miss it can still see it afterwards. I was curious about it myself, but I just woke up.

Well the problem is to interact in both directions, I also expect people will have questions and such. As for the lesson itself I will repeat the way I was taught C# in school just in Java instead. It seems like C# is much more user friendly for beginners I think. The fact there is one editor for it all simplifies stuff a lot. I was suggested a hell load of things from running it all in cmd to jumping off a bridge, the later seems easier both physically and mentally. Also loads of minor issues and odd stuff, things you need to get used to. For example in C# auto complete was appearing automatically which was quite comfortable, just click enter and get a whole word, in Eclipse it is done with ctrl+space and I keep clicking enter
, Also kinda weird way to get input Woot ! .

They're watching ...

It's not going to be easy to organise, not everyone can do it at the time you want,
I wanted to, and was about to join, but I had to go, which was unexpected, but this is something I really wanted to do, and I'm mildly annoyed I missed it.
