Well, insanity is a state that differs greatly from "psychologically normal", this can come with instability or just an unpredictability due to a different way of thinking.
However, being normal would definetly not be among the qualities that get you along here...

No matter who becomes Administrator, if anyone does, they won't be 'in charge' of anything. The role of the Administrator should only involve maintaining the forum and making any changes that the Moderators and the forum as a whole decide are necessary, not acting as another Moderator or making those decisions in the first place. If the Administrator can reasonably be said to be in charge, something is very wrong, in exactly the same way it was wrong with Shiva. We aren't talking about electing a new head of the forum, or even a new moderator. All we need is someone who knows the ACP well enough to make whatever changes need to be made without breaking other stuff in the process.

1) I do not want to be admin. I cannot stress that enough. If I could resign my current mod position I would, because being an anonymous, normal user means I can do whatever I want without reflecting badly on the staff.

2) The ACP is not as easy to pick up as you believe. If an intelligent character like LJS couldn't figure it out in 2 months, I doubt anyone present could.

3) Even if I did want the post, I fail to see how Lightspeed would be an improvement. If it were up between a grumpy jerk who knows his way around the control panel and someone who is incapable of spelling properly on a daily basis, I'd pick the former if no other options presented themselves. Truth be told Shiva's leaving left quite a big power vacuum that I was hoping LJS would fill, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Well talkin bout vacuums now we have two , Tiel is really the best candidate for the role because if we think about it that was LJS's role to demote himself and if he can't do it but tiel can that is the role for tiel and he actually fulfils it even if he doesn't carry the golden badge.
