Though I won't go as far as calling them the Necroers I did say they partially share the sin with Hyperlite (and then CMA happily jumped on the opportunity to say it's "gay" ), again all you need to do is to ignore the necros and get the point across with a temp ban, no need to fuss about it and give a hand to the troll. Also its indeed not best to hand out punishment in a popularity vote, I abstain.

I didn't want to make this a popularity vote, but if I do anything without asking the community as a whole, I annoy somebody. And then it devolves into "who do I not tick off", and really, there's no good ending there.

Remember, this isn't a definite thing, it's mainly for opinons and reasons. Odds are the current issued-one-point will stand.

Nobody got banned for the overly excessive use of [tags], so necroing a bunch of things should neither be punished with banning. CMA did the same thing and the fuss was over the next day. Tiel's right, here. Everyone here has a day every once in a while where he annoys the rest of us a little. So what? Just don't do it again and everything's fine.

Also, everyone is hyperlite.

To put it simple for the who just have to pick at every single detail:
We don't like hyperlite, and we want him to go away. With a permaban, he's kept away until he makes an alt, and then we can just ban the alt.

Is it really that much trouble banning someone? Permabanning him now will prevent more of these ban-or-not wars, at least the ones related to hyperlite.
Of course, figuring out a good set of rules would also work, but you all know how we never manage to do that right, and that whenever we try to enforce them hell breaks loose.

May I remind you I only started my work because of a plan Hyperlite came up with, with the goal of furthering the development of the mod, and it damn near worked. Which is more constructive than some of you have ever been.

Just bear that in mind, I think I'm a little sickened by this.


He may have wronged, but he's one of us whether you like it or not, and I stand by that view.

I'll maintain the current one point, and hope hyper doesn't keep necroing and irritating everyone near-constantly. Besides, as was said, this will likely blow over in less'n a week.
