'de el' gets contracted to 'del' That is the extent of spanish grammar that I know.

It doesn't have to be. It frequently is, especially in casual conversation, but it isn't incorrect to leave it. "¡Que bueno del Führer!" is totally wrong, anyway, though. There's no verb in that 'sentence'.

'del' might actually be a Mexican thing, I can't remember my grandparents ever using it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

I think it's saying Why good the Fehrur? More appropriate would be El Fuhrer es bueno!
