Nevermind, I don't surrender. It is CURRENTLY vital for citizens to have access to weapons currently in the US. Our government is literally escorting illegals all over the country and ordering border patrol to stand down. Airports all over the country are receiving unexpected flights that turn out to be full of them! News agencies are being caught lying about the number of pro-immigration protesters, trying to make them sound strong in numbers! Politicians and News anchors have been saying things like "Denying illegal immigrants access to the USA is racist" or "Illegal Immigrant children are like baby Jesus" and "Turning them away is like Pharaoh turning away Moses"! Drug cartels and rogue Mexican soldiers are shooting at our border patrol! If stuff is as bad as you describe it you are living in a fking Iraq (which is far from being true), in fact if you all become vigilantes you'll be living in fking Iraq , to take the law in your hands is the definition of anarchy. You chose a very specific political state called democracy, wanna change something you gotta protest, vote for it and do other sorts of things like that, if you want to write the laws yourself overthrow that government and enjoy your real life Fallout until a strong dictator takes control of you, in a way the guns you thought that gonna protect your democracy will bring the dictatorship you hate so much.

The gubment pretty much threw the possibilities of militias out the window after the War between the States. Also, that still makes these guys legal:

Either way, the problem has never been weapons, the problem is that you have people who want to misuse them is this way. And if you had a proper Distributed social and justice system, this would either never be a problem or turn into a minor rebellion that would be destroyed after ans days.
