The Russians aren't outside of Crimea, this is Ukrainian army vs. Ukrainian rebels/militia that are probably supported by the Russians. I talked with a guy in Crimea, and unless he was a shill or something it seems like the referendum was actually pretty legitimate. Of course, the choice was between Russia and 'BANDERA * WESTERN IMPERIALISTS'. Slavs are fun.
