And thank you proto, for going off topic again...
Anyhow I really can't make much judgement until I see the rest of the ship, but for now, it's deffinetly and interesting idea.

Asteroid Dentist Mining Barge
Spoiler:
The JKE-23B or Asteroid Dentist, is a mining barge, that is mainly build to mine on flat large asteroids, as its drills are stationary. Designed by Tessa Rild, it has a black and white coloring and many soft edges, but most of the technical parts are outside. The drills convert the material below them into liquid by sending different frequencies of subspace waves out, until the material begins to pulsate and the molecules change their physical condition. Then the drill attracts the liquid and pumps it into pipes, where it gets compressed and then pumped into a tank. This technique helps to reduce the space needed for the materials, so that each block needs 16 times less space.

Hey Guys I'm back!
And I want to tease my next ship! Sadly its not the exploration cruiser, because my computer crashed and the whole memory was nearly destroyed. Luckily I have a backup, but in this backup the ship is far from being finished, so I thought, that I build something really quick and present it, while I'm rebuilding my cruiser based on the one picture that I uploaded on the old forum. Anyway, here you go:
Image
I'm doing a bit more detailing, interioring and exterioring, but I think I'll be done soon.

BTW: Thanks Laserbilly for showing the CyberOptics Pack, I love it.
Thanks for reading, goodbye!

Guppy Class Freighter
Spoiler:
The C-45a "Guppy" is a long range medium freighter, designed by Olk Tora. It's nickname "Guppy" was given to it by a captain, who thought, that the two high-res sensors on the front of the ship look like the pop eyes of a guppy. This freighter has space for twenty galactic standard containers. The design provides that the freighter docks to a station with it's starboard side, so that the containers can just be taken away, which saves time and effort. That's why the only glass of the whole bridge is on the starboard side, so that the pilot has a better view at the docking maneuver. The two forcefields at the front allow the mobile containers and the logistics drones to go into the station. This concept however requires a special docking port, which is already in use at all station of the interstellar hansa. This ship requires an external/ mobile jump drive, which is mounted on top of the ship.

Just something quick for you:

Hummingbird Class Interceptor Drone
Spoiler:
The Hummingbird is a light Interceptor for close range engagements. Its main weapons are only effective against other small spacecraft or missiles. It does not have much armor, nor many weapons, but it is fast. And because it doesn't have a pilot it can make very sharp turns, which can produce up to 20G with no problem. This drone can be controlled by a computer, which is not very effective, because a computer can not use this spacecraft to it's full capability, due to the very spontaneous and random flight style, which keeps the Hummingbird drone alive. This is something many customers are worried about, because mind-controlled flight computers take a good amount of space and can't be placed in small carriers.
Crew: None
Length: 5
Beam: 3
Draft:2
Weapons: 2x Small pulse lasers (located in the wings)
Spoiler:

Parrot Class Fighter Drone
Spoiler:
The Parrot drone is a medium fighter, for close to medium range engagements and escorting duty. It has weapons, which provide cover against other small craft, as well as some weapons, which are able to fight against bigger ships. It has mediocre armor, an average amount of weapons, but it is not as agile as an Interceptor. This drone can be controlled by a computer, this is especially effective on escorting missions, but they are often controlled remotely by a pilot, especially in bigger fleets.
Crew: None
Length: 7
Beam:5
Draft:2
Weapons: 2x Small pulse lasers (located in the wings)
2x Gauss cannons (located in the armor next to the "cockpit")
Spoiler:
Image

Hawk Class Attack Drone
Spoiler:
The Hawk is a heavy attack drone, for medium to long range engagements. This drone is made to attack bigger ships and do a good amount of damage. It has tough armor, a huge amount of weapons, but it is very slow. This drone is mostly controlled by a computer, because a computer is more precise than a human, which gives it an advantage, when targeting subsystems. However this drone is not used without any escorts, because it can take some damage, but is not able to fight against crafts which are more agile.
Crew: None
Length: 9
Beam: 5
Draft: 2,5
Weapons: 2x Heavy lasers (located in the wings)
4x Heavy Positron Plasma Jet Cannons (located next to the "cockpit")
1x Bomb bay (located in the middle of the ship)

Hey guys, I just found the LDD software and had some fun with it. I tried to build a Stormtalon from Warhammer 40k and wondered how you think it looks. Anyway:

Do you think it looks like a Stormtalon from 40k? Thanks for reading, bye.
