Bloody hell, these guys are dense
I mean come on, they just say rules are rules that must be follows without question, but if you can screw someone who has Sony months on their wok in such a horrible blunt manner, are those rules worth baing followed?
Totalitarian arses if you ask me, I'll probably get banned for pointing out the flaws, that's what they would probably do, judging by what I know of them.
Also they screwed over one of their most senior members in such a manner, and pretty much spat at them when said member left.

Again, I´m sad I can´t assimilate their computers, finding out their passwords, changing them and free PMC from their tyrant rule.

We won't need to, we simply blacklist them from FutureCraft, which is all the more reason to make sure we actually make itIvan2006 wrote:Again, I´m sad I can´t assimilate their computers, finding out their passwords, changing them and free PMC from their tyrant rule.
Or we could add a script that deletes their system 32, but that might be taking it a bit too far.

Re: PMC's Sci-fi Contest!
Well his build is great ad this is what matters isn't it ? Anyway I think I should add that this disqualifying borders with corruption - giving unfair advantage to other competitors who might know that specific guy who disqualified Mack. As much as you would like to do something about it you can't really do anything. I don't think they are interested in visiting our site anyway and banning them is also taking a bit too far. Best you could do is refuse them to put the FC launcher download on there or remove your content in protest but I don't think they will care either. Eventually it works like a big oiled machine and you are too small cogs to cripple it. That is why I am not as strict with rules while moderating because I don't want to have a totalitarian machine rolling people over.
EDIT: also instead of trying to break the rules bind them to fit your needs. Keep a copy of the ship somewhere and try to intelligently chop it so that it fits the given area. I can help you out if you need to.

Re: PMC's Sci-fi Contest!
They don't seem to realise how much of a blow they have jut inflicted and they just do not care about whether their blow was justified, nor the fact that the person receiving it had done no wrong, it's just:
Rules are rules, no exceptions, punishment is execution, no matter what.
I mean, if this happened to me, it would be enough to make me stop building stuff, maybe even stop playing minecraft.
Mack, one thing, keep making awesome stuff, just bear in mind that PMC is full of *.
And I will not be posting the FutureCraft Pack on PMC, I mean it gets stole from there by worthless bottom feeders looking to scrape money off of it already, plus this.
Promise me that FutureCraft never ends up like this.

I agree. PMC has too many problems for my liking. Let's forget about it, and move on.

In the wake of this incident, I am proud to say that I do not and have never had a PMC account.

Re: PMC's Sci-fi Contest!
What I think is BS is that the ICESS was submitted on the first week of the competition and no-one said anything to you about the map rule. I saw one or two instances where a judge disqualified an entry before the end date for not being on the map. I think that if you can find those warnings for the other players, then you can make an argument for why your build shouldn't be disqualified.
