But this is a standalone ship with no connection to my shipyards

Then make a connection

I did make separate posts for some ships and everyone was okay with it.

Yeah, but in general it's better to have a single thread for each person. If the ships you build aren't related to each other, you might title the thread 'Block's Ships' rather than whatever your shipyard is. There's no rule or anything against having lots of threads, but it makes for unnecessary clutter.
