Hello people of the Futurecraft Forums! I plan to recreate a variety of UNSC and covenant ships from the fictional Halo universe. They're gonna be reasonably big and I can image difficult to make, especially the covenant ships with their curved hull shapes. The ships I am hoping to build are the CCS Covenant battlecruiser, UNSC frigate, UNSC Halcyon and/or Marathon and a wide range of smaller transport/escort craft. Any comments are appreciated, I'm trying to make them as accurate as possible.

CCS-class Covenant battlecruiser - approx 600 blocks long
Day 1 - 17/07/2013

What I've got so far, just an outline and the skeleton of the foremost section.

Day 3 - 21/07/2013
[spoiler]Finished the front half of the nose and built a skeleton for the back half. I will continue the rest of the ship and then come back to the nose later.

Looks really nice so far You have a lot more patience than me building that by hand

To make your ships as accurate as possible I suggest looking at places like HaloNation to find out accurate information on the ships such as dimensions that will be useful in your recreations. I wish you the best of luck!

Thanks guys. I would find it FAR too difficult to build the larger ships to scale so this ship should be somewhere around a third the size of the real thing, but other than that it should be pretty close to spot on. But I've looked at the Halo wikis and the hard copy Encyclopedia so I have a decent idea.

So, hows the progress on that ship?

I have tried and failed at that stupid ship at least 4 times. I can never get the shape right, but you are off to a much better start than me.

Progress is pretty darn slow, I have to shape this mother trucker block by block, but it's getting there.

Yea, this is the worst possible shape to try and make with cubes.

I'll post an update tonight on progress.
