Always start with the engines, always.
This reminds me, I need to continue with the Archetype.
But those engines look awesome.

Looks great! Maybe a little shallow, but I'm assuming that these are just the tail-end of your thrusters.

I start with the bow if I have a plan, the engines if I'm just placing blocks randomly. And a big rectangular block if I'm binvoxing.Laserbilly wrote:Looks great! Maybe a little shallow, but I'm assuming that these are just the tail-end of your thrusters.

More progress on the engine-pipeline section (FOV is a bit high, but I needed to fit the whole thing in):

Thought so. It looks cool so far, but what's that on the left?

Re: Wings of The Schmetterling
It's where the hyperdrive engines are going. It's the same base as the giant gun-holder, but I've changed a few bits of it and it holds engines instead of lasers.
There'll be two of these engine sections, and considering each is about 600 meters in length (width to the rest of the ship), it's going to be pretty big.

Spoiler:
I won't be finishing I.C.E.S.S. until I become more popular on PMC, because I don't want the 30+ hours it will take to build it end up with only ~50 diamonds. In the meantime, giant heavenly castle/tower thingy will get me publicity, and hopefully into the Angel Block Society (like Mensa for Minecraft, if you don't know what it is).
I also built this, with 45 degree blocks. Fear my research abilities. And fear the guns they allow me to create.
Spoiler:
Actually, just be afraid of everything I touch. In fact, it'd be nice if you just shook with fear at the very mention of my name.

Sorry, Mack, but you missed the point at which someone established a secret network of spies, agents and intrigues that makes everyone think of your stuff as 'noteworthy' in comparison to DA POWAR OF DA BAWSS.

Re: Wings of The Schmetterling
With what mod did you get those 45 degree blocks? I want some of those!
