I have finally got around to posting my army, so quiver in fear!

I'm thinking of using this as a banner for the OP:

Well no because armadas fly (or float)

No, this is one Convort. 10 of these make up one Legeon, and there's one legion for each secondary colour and tertiary colour combination you can use in Mineracft (all the wools, obsidian, netherrack, netherbrick, lapis lazuli, gold. I don't like emerald). This leads to a maxium of 240 Legeons.

In one Convort, there is:


1152 Infantry (including 64 officers)
80 Battle mechs
16 Tanks
16 mobile weapons platforms
8 Destroyers
8 Cargo transports
8 Troop transports
6 Helicopters
4 Magisters (a "mech" better name for the Giant Mech of Doom)
4 Speeders
4 Supply dropships
1 Convortiucs (the officer in charge)

And a total of 1281 people in one Convort (including pilots/drivers)


This means in the entire army (not including reserves, support crews, or special forces), there is 3,074,400 people. This is when the Alterans ruled the galaxy, before they became reclusive.

Yeah, they're definitely a pain until you get down building small. What I think is, the smaller the build, the harder it is to make it look right...

Now that I have an army, I'm going to need a method to transport it. That is why I am constructing a massive carrier, capable of carrying an entire Convort and many other vehicles and fighters. It will be the most realistic ship I've ever built, and probably the most realistic ever in Minecraft. In it, I will take into consideration the structures of power, weapons, sensors, communication (probably not so much as everything will be wireless), plumbing, thrusters, vehicle/ship storage, super structure and life support. I'll post many pictures as I go, and will also post pictures of the systems as I create them (which will probably involve dissecting the parts of the ship I built beforehand).

This tiny portion of the ship took about 2 hours to do. At this rate, it's going to be 100+ hours to finish the entire thing. Yay. I'm relying on you guys to keep me motivated, so please tell me what you think so far.
