Protip: make whole ships
Not that those modules aren't any good, they are quite good, but I would like to see you use them in a whole ship, from the looks of those parts I reckon you could whip up a good quality ship.

I kown the ships are comming.
Building the modules first is practice so the full ship don't look some what lame and building the moudels first save time in the long run beacuse buildcraft builders can build entire sections like the NFi2-2E in about five min.

Use a sci-fi texture pack or generic texture pack. Most certainly DO NOT use a fantasy texture pack (even with modified textures).

The texture pack i use is the [32x] JohnSmith Mod Support for Feed the Beast (beta pack A) on mineraft 1.4.2

then you try find some thing that look go with the feed best mod pack beacuse i can't other than this.
