I know, I know, it looks horrible, but trust me, it'll look slightly less so when it's done.

No, I'd have lagged to death before I got to the crew area if I did.

It was just not working out, so I present half of the superstructure of the Hospis-Class! At the time of screenshots, its is 126 blocks from prow to airlocks 1-4. The Hospis mounts an experimental beam cannon on its front because I couldn't think of another frontally mounted heavy weapon that wasn't very invasive.

Yay, starships. Ships are cool.

This one especially. Modular, or something?

It's the first second generation ship, utilizing new modular methods. I present unto you this 172 block (biggest I've finished) heavy cruiser,

Hospis-Class HACCx-2
Spoiler:
The Hospis Heavy Assault Command Cruiser wields an experimental beam cannon based off of techniques present in some NeoRoman tech, and is the first second generation ship, and as such sports a new modular superstructure which ensures an interior comfortable for the crew. Also part of the changes present in second generation ships is running lights, in place for safety reasons, an expanded cargo hold, interior bulkheads, at regular intervals, and spare escape pods. The Hospis is also armed with 35 stowed B-class laser mounts and 12 anti-capital cruise missiles.

Decided to make a generic example of a Hexalan city. Design is based on Roman Castra. Scale is 1:100 blocks.
By the front is the barracks where the garrison is stationed when not in any of the 6 defensive towers, unused barracks house the homeless. In the center is the Federal Administration building, inside one would find the equivalents of the post office, DMV, and nationalized legal firms, and the Primary Shopping center, which is basically a giant mall. Northwest of that is the port where ships dock and unload cargo into the warehouses below, the main buildings leading to the streets are owned and operated by private space-related firms as well as the federal shipyards. The Northeast is the business district, all of which culminates to the Main Trading Center.
