You got it absolute-xactly.

Also, probably nothing new for a while until I finish my game of Endless Space. Already at turn 242. Guess that's what happens when you stay up until 2:30 the next day
well finish it fast! I want to see more progress on the ship

I was bored and decided to make a thing.

Tansbaar-Class Cargo Hauler
Spoiler:
The Transbaar class are long range cargo haulers, featuring modular segments, each capable of different tasks. The common choice however, is a corridor with multiple hardpoints on either side. It is through these hardpoints the owner may attach anything compatible with the standard hardpoint, the often choice for captains being light defensive weaponry interspersed between Standard Cargo Crates. On either side of the bridge are our standard docking ring, on the bridge also is the below deck power and shield generation system. The engineering area hosts the 8 NXX-CA3 sublight engines and HJAS Slipspace drive.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't let you do that.

New ship, it looks like it'll end up a heavy cruiser.

Presenting the Gyilkos-Class Assault Cruiser!
Spoiler:
The Gyilkos-Class Assault Cruiser is a moderately sized ship with a focus on ship-to-ship combat. 2 ~30m gimbaled MACs are located on the port and starboard wings, 2 frontally mounted triple-barreled 152mm guns each on dual swivels, along with 42 high-explosive anti-capital ship missiles. Along with these, the Gyilkos-Class also has retractable loading dock with an accompanying vehicle bay and barracks capable of safely holding 10 Scorpio MBTs and 20 soldiers. These features put the Gylikos in a rival position to our Onesty-Class Planetary Assault Cruisers. Maximum stock crew is 32.

You might want to make the sides (and maybe top) less flat. It looks very blocky.

(Kzinti script, as best as can be displayed in Human characters, translated roughly as "For the Patriarchy!")

I'll try to work that in when I get around to rebuilding what I lost when my server died.

I agree that it could use a little more of something on the big empty spaces on top (I not sure what, maybe just some fine detailing/greebling). But I like the overall shape, and I really like the two guns at the front.

Round off the sides, make the wings thicker where they join to the hull, and you've for yourself a decent ship.

The Onesty-Class PAS is by far my favorite but they are all great!

I like the pointy front with what appears to be the bridge at the underneath.

I now have Space Engineers running at a decent FPS.

Falkronis-Class Light Support Carrier
Spoiler:
A main component in smaller patrol fleets, LSCs provide a small fighter compliment to defend the other ships and has a second, oversized bridge fore making it a great mobile command. In cases where a more appropriate capital can not be assigned, an LSC is a common secondary option. Pleth-pattern Falkronis-classes are very prevalent in patrol oriented carrier fleets, and is a centerpiece in countless battleclusters. The aft bridge is foremost a fighter control center, and secondarily an auxiliary bridge in the event the primary fore bridge is compromised.

Ool. Hangar seems a touch on the small sjde, though, for a carrier. Even a patrol carrier.
