Sketchup 2013 is owned by Trimble. It'd be better to call it Trimble Sketchup to avoid confusion between it and the old Google version.

Wow wow finding epic models and copying them over is plagiarism ... or at least less interesting to watch. Make your own ships as only this way you can really prove your worth when it comes to minecraft builds and be really proud of your work.

Making 3D models of any kind and importing them into Minecraft is cheating. It's so much easier to build ships when you don't have to deal with blocks, but rather large adjustable shapes.

This just saves time - it is like saying driving a car is cheating and we should all go on foot. With that editor or without it the results will be the same for a skilled builder - you won’t even know they "cheated" , eventually they did exactly what you did when you built by hand. IT is just a tool like any other, some tools are good for some cases, others for others. You hand is useful for tight spaces while this tool is useful for vast buildings.

You use McEdit; 3D modeling and using binvox is just the next step up in efficiency! If I ever find the time, I'd like to learn how to use a 3D modeling program and shorten my build times considerably.
