Maybe we could get LabJac from the server we play on onto here, become their forum too or some shite
SMP.de already fills that role, and quite frankly I do not want assholes like Leite here (though I'd love to ban him myself)
Some of them are sound though.

Just spouting ideas to try to get new members; the whole FC idea seems to have petered out in terms of member attraction.

I'd love to see some new faces (this could be constrained as sort of just a bit my own fault), but as long as everyone who's here is getting along relatively well, that's the most important thing to me.

I still think we need I start a server. I believe I've worked out how to make a not terrible modpack independent of anything like FTB. But I haven't yet looked at FTB. I also quite like the gameplay of Monorisu's server, and I reckon if done properly t would be a very fun server to play on.
As for getting people on said server, modded isn't actually that limiting, so long as you get he modpack right. Sure more people play unmodded, but Monorisu's actually gets a lot of new players... Who then leave because of the poorly set up modpack.
But they did have a decent advertising platform present when they made it, which we don't have.
Oh wait. Yes we do.

That'd be good, an MC server and/or the futurecraft modpack/flan's pack is pretty much the only realistic option I can see for survival, and my birthday's coming up soon so I'll probably get a new CPU for my gaming rig. Of course, I gave up video games for lent, so you'll have to wait ~40 days for any screenshots or high-graphics videos.

How convenent. Yesterday since I live in the south and ny school system will close durning an inch of snow I spent the entire day setting up a MCPC+ server on my computer. I was then hopping to rent a server from mcpro hosting and just transfer the mods and plugins. So far I have the perms set up as well as the economy, factions, and spawn. But I'm currently at Ireland for futurecon 2014 so it'll wait.

I dun goofed and spent all my money on radios. Ergo, I have no more money to host the forum. There's enough in our DigitalOcean account to pay for just under another month, but everything afterward will have to come from another source. Halp.

If you have a PayPal I can set you up to my adf.ly, about $120 in there so it can cover until you can afford again.

I still don't understand why we haven't switched over completely yet.
