If you want people to look at posts you are referencing, you may want to consider providing a link so we don't have to go hunting it down. Especially now that there are 5 different discussion boards and not every topic has its own thread. That little icon next to the date and time on each post holds a permalink to that post.

Gravity and mass is complicated in Minecraft because nothing tracks mass on entities and Newtonian physics are not respected. Some entities fall faster than others and you can push multiple minecarts because conservation of momentum is hacked around (which is also why we used to be able to use minecart boosters until Notch tweaked the hitboxes).

While we could add some of those values to entities, it would be impossible to retrofit the vanilla content and still preserve the same feel of things. And it is important that the Copernicus engine has the same feel as the vanilla engine so that it can be used in other mods, even if Futurecraft specific content and features do not. In other words, we need to be very careful assigning new physics to existing things.

i dont say you should change the physics
but you could add some rules to it those rules wouldnt change it but could be used by other mods

my gravity was on the stats and stuff

it says a player has an amount of strength [this doesnt have to be realistic]
this strength changes the weigth a player can carry [this doesnt have to be realistic]
the speed at wich a player can destroy blocks

the gravity can be from 90% upto 130%
90% grants you faster walking and a little more carry weight
130% has slower walking and less carry weight

maybe low gravity also has 1 1/2 jump height
