FC Lore

Mackeroth suggested putting the lore discussion into here.
So, any suggestions about a FC-lore?
Because I donĀ“t have any better Idea than taking the story from the original RP and saying "The war against Strigiforme led to every faction breaking apart and small groups of refugees having to re-establish a new order.
The only survivor was the United Factions, which were similar to the UN of Old Earth and plan on continuing their job.

I say we toss the RP lore; it doesn't make much sense in context anyway.

There doesn't really need to be an explanation as to why you're starting off alone, as long as the mod stays true to minecraft. We don't know where Steve came from, and who's going to complain if he goes to space and builds stuff? It'll be the same thing on a grander scale.

Not at all, you cant toss eggman empire into here, it's copyrighted material. The stuff in the RP looks like a wall of text rather then lore, has too much discrepancies in it (timeline, tech, size) that it becomes simply unusable, and again you cannot make this before you choose what your mod is.

BTW Tiel note how you follow what I said (though make a total mess out of it).

For long I planned and tried to make a lore for FC but I found it impossible due to a total lack of knowledge about what the mod is.

Good point.
Considering people start with vanilla minecraft-level technology and have to get their tech up to space-flight and beyond, it would make most sense if we use the standard MC-lore which is... nothing...

some moderator can lock this now, as I just discovered it makes no sense.

If there's any shared ideas through our posts it's mere coincidence. I don't scurry around looking at your posts to reconcile my own thoughts on a topic, as you seem to think :tongue:

Also the only requirement for the lore is owls

The lore should have a strange fixation with owls, but by no means does it have to be entirely owl-based.

There was an interesting youtube series which gave cliff notes for the lore of popular video games, and it was quite well done. I'll try to find it when I get home.
