I can make turrets or hovertanks, but don't count on any textures...

Right, I've already got my origional UAV thing working, looks awful because it's too small but I can just replace it, but it's is pretty much flyable, although when you shoot the bullets collide with the craft and the whole thing explodes.

Given up on trying to make things have VTOL, but I've sent a PM to flan suggesting it and with a brief and probably wrong description of how it could be achieved, should he choose to accept.

Other than that I have a much much better space fighter model in the works, will upload pictures when I finish, although someone might want to do the texture instead of me, I have once again proven my incompetence in that field.

That's easily fixed. You can change the locations of the guns in the vehicle's file.

Worked out how to do textures, and discovered the scale function, all I need to do for my drone thing is to make it craftable

Then to make one that isn't total carp

Tried to make an APC model but then my box disappeared on me and I realized I have no fundamental understanding of how Techne handles modelling. I will have to watch tut #4 later to see how Manu does it.

Techne is quite weird compared to other software ive used, but manus makes good tuts, and the toolbox is a total lifesaver.

a prototype for a fighter i'm working on, at the moment its just a test to see if i can actually get the flaps to work in game.

God news everyone.

Finished that fighter thing you saw earlier, got it working in game, got a fairly naff texture done, set up the cockpit, guns and all that jazz.

Once it get it craftable I will post a link up here, for if anyone want a pop at doing a better texture.

Apart from that, if anyone else gets something done, post it up somewhere.

I recommend Flan's Mod.

But more seriously, for a basic test just open your Flan folder, open one of the vehicle files, and change the model line from whatever it is to the name of your model. Then put the model in the 'models' folder in the content pack folder, and craft that vehicle in MC. If you did it right, that vehicle will now use the model you created. If you did it wrong, MC will probably crash when you try to place the vehicle.
