Good news everyone, more content will be coming very soon.

I have added a few new guns (icons provided by tackingbob) and I am working on a new fighter (I was working on a tank, but it hasn't gone well)

Plan of the new fighter, the AR-15 wasp

Never played gradus, and there a several key differences between this and that (tail fins, the overall sleekness, the cockpit height, wing shape ect)

Colour should be greyish to start, but the main colours should be easy to change (I could produce several colour schemes).

When I try to enter one of the ships you made and start to fly the game freezes. Is this a bug or is it just me?

Happens with flans mod a lot (I get this with every plane), but only seems to happen once per world (the first time you use a plane), if you restart minecraft it should work fine.
There are quite a few bugs with flans mod at the moment, but hopefully these should not stick around too long.

Also I've put a link to this thread on minecraft-SMP.de so peeps from there can get the download and info

alright I have some good news, and some bad news.

the good news is I've just discovered a really simple trick to invert shapes, something I have been trying to do for a while, and the solution was so simple I had overlooked it many times.

the result is this:

(yeah the central column is a bit misshapen, that happened when I rotated the textures, easily fixable)
this is the view from inside the cockpit.

and now the bad news, i accidentally clicked the wrong button, and managed to delete everything that I've done, the above picture is what I've been able to recreate so far.

I'm going to have to delay the release untill Tuesday

It doesn't look that great either ... I think you might want to delete the hud it's too low res to look good and make the window more windowy - the steel frame looks odd, flat like it's a paper. Maybe just painting the texture is not enough and you need an actual model here.

I've been thinking of something like a joystick, maybe even rudder pedals, but I'd have to position it quite carefully, or extend the cockpit into the fuselage this would require deleting one face of a shape, and adding another inverted shape like the one here in, to make an interior section, which could be quite cool)

I'll probably end up with a cockpit like the original A-144 design, only shorter.

The HUD is just a test for now, although I might keep some elements of it. Just a little more minimalistic than this test version.

Looks like I have to rethink the design a little

@IV I see what you mean by the frame, using a rectangle model might look better, but it would have to be joined to the external shape of the cockpit, and I would have the side that is joined blank texture wise, otherwise it will make some rather funky and annoying glitches. I'll probably do something similar to the cockpit on this:

This is a old style A-144 (mine is the newer style), obviously I'll have to shorten it to fit on the AR-15, but I quite like this style. It won't be easy but it could be drafted up in techne, then refined
