He did it to 1.25:1 scale. As in it is 1.25 bigger than it should be. it's 17 blocks long, an actual baneblade is 13.5m long.

I'm doing the same to rex, this is to compensate for humans not being 2 meters tall and 1 wide.

Besides, they are fairly evenly matched anyway, Baneblade dominates close range, but the moment Rex pops off a shot from the Railgun the Tank is toast.
