Well it's cats design so I guess it would be, but the head does fit the NSCD style. I'll probably make it SR as they don't have a mech yet (Omega is NSCD, Fafnir is UGF), also owl feet.

as for boxes, my only explanation is black magic

yeah ok, I've fucked dimensions up again, it's going to end up a similar size to the madcat, I may be able to fix with modelscale though. I also need to redesign the arms slightly, just so that they rotate around the centre of the hard point.

which has been released now btw, uses cheaper parts then Fafnir and has more health, I have a balance to sort out now.

well, that's what you get for installing too many modpacks.
Also big mechs appearently look like they could litterally just turn their gun and fling a tank through the air like a human kicking a toy car.

Okay I'm back after the short break. the start of the peregrine is great, the laser is great, the design of the rail gun is decent. I wonder what are these changes you plan to make to the arm of the peregrine it is designed to rotate directly on the hardpoint, most of the forearm is past the joint towards the back. Also the cockpit is supposed to have a transparent bottom and the control console is meant to not go all of the way to the front

You may be using a proxy. It's what my school's proxy does with embedded vids on this forum.

E:Also just want to reiterate that the plasma thrower's spikes are supposed to be a heat shield and/or a series of magnetic field projectors. Its meant to be an older, cheaper, or less advanced device. Same goes with the e posed wiring and writing on the laser weapon, it was meant to show a little wear.

I think I could do with some mech weaponry tailored to the Peregrine, as I don't think it'll use the same colour scheme as Fafnir, I'll be using the same variable weapon system so any weapons for Fafnir fit anyway, but I'd like the Peregrine to have some signature weapons. Flamethrowers are a mech death sentence, and are about the only thing that'll ever harm a Fafnir.

As for the guns, I think I've got all the designs that I need, unless you want to have a go at the rail weapons yourself. However as I'm doing a shit tonne anyway, we could perhaps go with some other weapons, so if you have an idea go for it, I'm considering a plasma thrower as a special weapon.

As for the thrower, while I could possibly make that shape, it would be more trouble than it's worth (I'm struggling to get my head around the peregrine's body, which is a simpler shape), and I would rather replace it with a different style. The rest of the gun is quite square and rugged, so perhaps a split octagonal heat design, little less extravagant but I reckon would look good, and I could then possibly put spikes on the front, like messily welded on spikes to make it look like a mean bastard. I'll try and draw this up.

Wear is quite difficult to show unless I do the HD panel trick, which looks weird and out of place. Plus you craft this stuff new, why would you craft something battered? I see why it's appealing though, but I don't know how to work it in.

Oh, and a shotgun thing, we really need one, plasma thrower works for close range, but we need a lower tier, close quarters thing, because any flame/plasma thrower is very powerful in game as it'll burn all of your stuff when it kills you.

And maybe a Melee weapon, even though they suck balls right now (like major elephant balls).


Also can I call the plasma thrower the toaster? I'm going to do it anyway but I though it would be polite to ask.
