I support dragons. Fafnir, Nidhogg, Wyvern, Midgard Serpent... There are good names. Don't call it 'Gigas'. Don't call anything 'Gigas'.

Cronus is my Greek mythology name.

I could call it Fefnir and hope nobody makes a mech called Zero, or Omeg...

Ok, Fafnir, I'll spare the megaman reference and not call it Fefnir, but it fits as the main gun will look like a big version of the Dragon cannon. Which just happens to be based on Fefnir's gun.

Making some revisions to the design to try out some other features:

1: noticed I can add driver guns that work independently to the main arms, I'll use this to make two rocket pods, and what's more I can use the door function to make them concealable, plus a neat little HUD thing in the cockpit telling you whether it's open or not.

2: adding a passenger controlled chin gun because otherwise you could just stand under it and shoot up, with this you'll have to be behind it too to do that. The gun will probably just be an MGB-36

God yes, they'll all need a square connector in the back but I can just slap that on after. I've already got a few but more dakka can never be a bad thing.

And I've decided I'm definitely calling it Fafnir now.

Also first HUD design
1 = pilots view
2 = Gunners view

Gunner gets barely anything as it needs better FOV

Changed the geometry to a blockier assembly, but I'm not sure if "simplified" is the correct term to use... The stance is kind of different now because the faceted original leg was a little too long so the torso looks a bit too wide.

So I'm going to be using that higher res texture trick in places, however I think I'd be better off preparing the actual textures for these parts in advance rather than doing it with the rest of the texture because reasons.

However I think I can hand these over to you lot to save some time, I have a few parts that I would like to be done, quality shouldn't be too much of an issue for anything that isn't going in the cockpit.

If you could preferably do these on a 100x100 canvas

Things needed:

Cockpit instruments/ controls/ holographic projections.

Metal plate with the words "MK V Counterweight system" inscribed on them

A few orange and black chevrons

The emblem of the Mech, which as you can guess should be a dragon.



Now I understand with you lot not all of these will be done, but if anyone is willing to give it a go it would be much appreciated.

actually, I think I'll take two PACs.

One will fire really fast but the shots themselves won't do much damage, kinda like this:

The other, which I've already got a design for will shoot one big one that does a fuckton of damage, but slow reload time
