How many will that tank seat? And there will be two side turrets right? Maybe a commanders turret? Like a .50 cal/12.7

Man gunner and two secondary gunners. But I haven't quite got the secondary turrets figured out, there's another step to be done somewhere.TinkerPox wrote:How many will that tank seat? And there will be two side turrets right? Maybe a commanders turret? Like a .50 cal/12.7

Re: FC content pack flan's [THREADNAUGHT]
Tank is pretty much done, still need to work out passenger guns but that's now biggie.
However, I realise I should probably start making a proper mech, because then I could legitimately call the update the "heavy metal" update.
I'll probably something similar to the Type IX design I posted a while back, purely because so far it's a bit simpler than the other designs we have.
I've also asked Manus if I can borrow his Madcat model to use as a reference for how I should be setting it up, I promise I won't get too distracted playing with it if he does allow me to use it.

YES I DIDcatsonmeth wrote:HEY PROTO DID YOU SAY MECH?
If Manus lets me borrow the madcat model I can start it quicker as I'll have a decent reference to base the size on, and it'll be easier to make the config from that than from a Titan or Omega.
He has read my message, and hasn't replied...

Re: FC content pack flan's [THREADNAUGHT]
Also, realised I can't call the Type IX "Atlas" as that name is already in use for a bomber I forgot to make.
Shall I call it Cronus (king of the titans), Fefnir (some Norse dragon), Sigma (because I'm already using Omega) or Gigas? (Latin for big)

You could call it Peregrine and then model the Peregrine.

Re: FC content pack flan's [THREADNAUGHT]
That is way more conplex, but if I can do this one that would be the next mech, always find it better to try a new thing with a slightly simpler model.
The problem with the peregrine would be the legs, the rest would be ok but the legs might be a bit crap model wise.
Also, chin gunner, one thing I noticed with the madct is you can just run under it with a RPG and kill it from there. An Omega could prove fatal to any madcat in Flan's, you wouldn't even have the pain of the limited view as the target is so big. Plus you can't outmaneuver it with the madcat.

I can simplify it myself if you want.

Re: FC content pack flan's [THREADNAUGHT]
If you could please, just the legs, if they were less angular it would be better, but the rest of it should be fine, and I'll be working out a standard model anyway with the IX that should fit something like the peregrinecatsonmeth wrote:I can simplify it myself if you want.
