they are roughly in proportion with the actual A-144 design, the top one is a bit bigger now though

what with the dots on the cockpit glass texture?



and for the gunship hmm that is very unfortunate well if there isn't anything you can do on your part I will see if I can change some things around but that will take some work, and I blame that little square saying what direction it is

and what side is it facing, like is the right side suppost to be the front or the left

just a placeholder, that was the first bit i textured so I wanted to check out how the texture would render (because its made of shapes, rather than boxes)

If the square was wrong for the gunship it could be wrong for this too.
i PMed you the class for the gunship, i suggest taking a look at it yourself, that will tell you more than I can

and lets say I use those rotation option on techne will that make it more complex to make a model file

it shouldn't however the angles could get messed up (think that was fixed for 1.4.6 though), if you are going for anything angular, learn to use shapes, manus has tutorials on how to do this. it should be the same process though.

I can also confirm the A-144 Phalanx works perfectly in-game.

also I can't see it, cause I says I need turbomodelthingy, and that usually comes up if a model hasn't been updated to flan 1.4.6
but then again that in the java and I used toolbox and it had the change I pretty sure

Yeah, you've just realised that it rarely works the way you want it to, now, at this stage, if you want to make it work, the only thing is to not give up, trust me, I made about 5 fairly good models, only to discover that they were horribly misshapen when rendered. My advice is to look at all the tools in the toolbox, my latest model has been built without any use of techne, and it has been the easiest to make work out of all my models, not to mention its the best of them.

It could take a while to fix the gunship, however it is a good model, so don't give up on it, also I'd quite like a version for the FC pack (so we don't just have starfighters) I mean Vincent (one of the modellers for minecraft SMP actually copied the design for the gunship, so I think we should get the original out there.

As for the tank, I don't think it will even work because when I tried to render it (with all parts designated as body parts) it caused MCP to crash, although the model would be better if shapes were used to make the more complicated parts.

Ladies and mentlegen, boys and gehrls, I proudly present:

The FutureCraft Flan pack 0.4 (applause)
New additions:
The AR-12 Skyblazer (with beta texture, feel free to modify)
The A-144 Phalanx enforce fighter

The ion propulsion engine (work with all planes, double the speed of the rotary pistion engine)
The ion thruster (for AR-12 and A-144)

Crafting:
The A-144 Phalanx (the AR-12 is same recipe but with light grey dye)

Known bugs:
if you attempt to fly without fuel, the game may crash
guns on planes don't work, but this seems to be a problem with the actual mod
AR-12 is ugly
To enter the A-144, you have to click the front left of the cockpit, you must also hit here to destroy it.
I wanted the A-144 to handle like a starfighter (i.e. thrust vectoring) so i set the point of rotation to the front of the plane, meaning it noclips when you try to take off, but this isnt' too much of a problem seeing as its designed to launch from carriers.
textures may be funny (funny weird not funny haha) in some light levels, but I can't do much about that

Great, thats step 1. How do we get this to multiplayer? Secondly, we should add a entity frigate, of 40 blocks or so. Maybe make it a dropship.

Then we need guns, that's easy enough.

already got guns, railguns and laser guns, and it should work with any server with flans mod, but I haven't tested that, although I don't think a frigate would work too well with flans mod, unless you can find a way to render each block, and generate a big enough text file for all the collision boxes, and even then you wouldn't be able to move around in it.

Although i do have a drop ship planned for this pack, and when we sort out model importing for actual futurecraft, I'll just copy the source code of the models over.

You are now a legit modeler, put that on the Manus forum. I am sure you could get a whole section for this pack, and it could be on the home page for news.

This is just flan's mod, not really Futurecraft, though we will use the models for futurecraft, and it will work with multiplayer, I am sure it will also work with FC multiplayer.
