Why the hell dividing the players into "Travellers" and "noobs" (I have no idea how those two relate BTW) is ever a good idea ? Unless we are starting a dota game OFC where flaming is essentials .

If you are looking up a guy for a faction member(only big important factions would do any research), it will tell you if he's actually played for a while or just found that dreadnought in space.

Sorry but ANY sort of sorting like this is really only leading to another DOTA style flaming. Besides I doubt you will see many dreadnaughts around and especially empty intact ones.

Never played DOTA so I don't know. Some of them were just added as random, fun stats.

Your idea of 'fun' may be different than ours.

Ok, joke stats that mean nothing.

I NOMINATE THIS IDEA

with the stats

Most missiles fired
Largest ship(blocks of air in ship)
Most kills
Most minerals mined(subcategories for each mineral)
Most planets visited
# of black holes fallen in
Most lasers fired
Most ships built(Would have to be above a certain size)
Most nukes detonated
Most ships captured

I suggest better names for the various ranks ie for nukes you could get like Weak Nuclear force to strong nuclear force to Do I even genocide?

Most money earned
Most money spent

And leaderboards for factions, might need to be chosen by Universal Moderators or something.

Largest military
-Largest defense net
-Largest Navy
-Largest ground force
Largest economy
Most stable economy
Most organized society
Most people exiled
Most pirates
Most civil wars
Most cities
Largest territory

Nope. Nomination does not mean the discussion freezes. If there's still active discussion, the idea should not have been nominated yet. You should take it off the nominated list until it's settled rather than trying to end the conversation.

The goal right now is just indexing discussion threads, not sorting out what are the best ideas. There are enough discussions here and they appear in all sorts of places where they have nothing to do with the original topic, simply locating them all is going to be enough work on its own.

@Joykler, you may also want to sift through old threads in this forum and the old forum to see what are good ideas there.
